Redlands Pet Adoption <br />Animal Services Supervisor Jodi Kroeger and Animal Services Officer Trevor Houser <br />introduced "Dasher", a four -year -old male Pit Bull mix who is available for adoption, <br />along with thirty-eight other dogs and eighteen cats at the Redlands Animal Shelter. Ms. <br />Kroeger informed the Council there had been twenty-six dogs and thirty-five cats adopted <br />in June 2023. <br />Proclamation Recognizing Clare Henry Day <br />Mayor Tejeda presented a Proclamation to Michael Day recognizing Clare Henry Day, for <br />his lifetime of service to his profession and for leaving an architectural legacy in Redlands. <br />Clare Henry Day's work is an important part of the Inland Empire's architectural history. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Appreciation- Fernando Ramirez expressed his appreciation of the Council's commitment <br />to invest in the north side and make improvements to Colton Avenue. <br />Mid -Century Modern Inventory - John Beall, Kathleen Beall and Steve Spiller thanked <br />the Council for recognizing Clare Henry Day for the architectural legacy he left in <br />Redlands and throughout the Inland Empire. They urged the City to conduct a property <br />inventory of mid-century modern homes, as other cities have done. They stated a proper <br />list was desperately needed in order to capture the historical value and worth of these <br />significant structures. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Minutes <br />On motion of Council Member Mario Saucedo, seconded by Council Member Jenna <br />Guzman -Lowery, the City Council unanimously approved, by roll call vote, the regular <br />meeting minutes of June 20, 2023. <br />Vote: 4 - 0 Passed <br />Proclamation Recognizing Clare Henry Day <br />On motion of Council Member Mario Saucedo, seconded by Council Member Jenna <br />Guzman -Lowery, the City Council unanimously approved, by roll call vote, the issuance <br />of a proclamation recognizing Clare Henry Day, for his lifetime of service to his profession <br />and for leaving an architectural legacy in Redlands and the Inland Empire. <br />Vote: 4 - 0 Passed <br />CC_SA_July 5, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />
