CORRECTED 9/23/90 <br /> AMENDED BY ORD- 2188 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 210S <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDLANDS AAENDIANG CHAPTER 15 . 20 <br /> OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOP'^- <br /> ING THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1988 EDITION <br /> WHEREAS, Government Code Section 50020 et sect, empowers <br /> the City to adopt by reference various uniform codes , <br /> inclining the Uniform Fire Code; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council is informed and finds that <br /> the Uniform Fire Code , 1988 Edition, rust be amended to meet <br /> the particular climatic, geological and topographical condi- <br /> tions existing in the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is informed and finds that <br /> these climatic , geological, and topographical conditions <br /> include, but are not limited to the Eollgwing conditions : <br /> 1 , The City is subject to relatively low amounts <br /> of precipitation, very low humidity levels and <br /> extremely high temperatures . These climatic conditions <br /> are condusive to the spread of fare . For example , <br /> during July, August and September , temperatures often <br /> exceed 100° Fahrenheit . During the same months <br /> humidity is usually less than 40%, and measurements <br /> less than 101 are not uncommon . These recordings were <br /> documented by the San Bernardino County Flood Control <br /> District and the National Climatic Data Center . <br />
