A G R E E M E N T <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 17th day of July, <br />1973, by and between the CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation <br />(hereinafter "City") and LAMPMAN AND ASSOCIATES, a California <br />corporation (hereinafter "Lampman"): <br />11 I T N E S S E T H: <br />The parties hereto do agree as follows: <br />1. RECITALS. This Agreement is made and entered into with <br />respect to the following facts: <br />(a) That the City has heretofore determined that the <br />public interest requires the preparation of Park Construction <br />Plans and Specifications for the Northside Community Park; <br />(b) That in order to develop such a plan it is necessary <br />to obtain the services of a qualified consulting firm to <br />complete the same; <br />(c) That Lampman is qualified to complete the same; <br />(d) That the City Council of City has elected to engage <br />the services of Lampman upon the terms and conditions as her.e- <br />inafter set forth; and <br />(e) That for the purposes of the work at Northsi.de Com- <br />munity Park, Lampman and Associates will work with and gain <br />the necessary approvals from the U. S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development, as per contract O.S.--CA-09-16-1049(G). <br />Lampman will deal with the HUD Los Angeles office on the <br />reporting, inspecting, and auditing procedures required for <br />this project. <br />2. SERVICES. Lampman shall perform the following services to <br />provide the construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, <br />and administration of the HUD grant program: <br />(a) Provide any additional engineering required to complete <br />existing plans for the park. <br />(b) Develop construction specifications, including both <br />technical and general provisions so that plans can be adver- <br />tised for bid. <br />-1- <br />
