reasonable time for the indoctrination and orientation of the personnel <br />assigned to the carrying out of the revised accounting procedures. <br />3. Contractor shall start said survey promptly after the <br />execution of this agreement, and shall proceed as rapidly as is consistent <br />with sound and careful analysis and study of the fiscal requirements and <br />the introduction of the revised system. <br />4. The said system shall be based upon nationally accepted <br />and professionally recognized modern accounting standards and principles <br />for governmental accounting, in accordance with the principles established <br />by the National Committee on Governmental Accounting, and more particu- <br />larly as the same relate to modern, municipal accounting. Said system <br />shall be as simple as practicable but complete enough to accomplish the <br />necessary objectives of good financial budgeting and control, accounting, <br />and reporting in the City. <br />11. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CITY <br />I. For the services to be performed by the Contractor <br />hereunder, the City agrees to pay the Contractor as follows: <br />A. The surn of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars <br />($2, 500) upon completion of said survey and upon the filing of the <br />report thereof; <br />- 2 - <br />
